10X Home Services Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy for 10X Home Services ("Privacy Policy") is effective as of February 25, 2025.
This Privacy Policy applies when you access and use applications or offerings provided by Cardone or Lessen or in connection with 10X Home Services (the "Services"). This Privacy Policy applies solely to information and data you may provide to us or we collect from you when you use 10X Home Services or the Services, and describes how and when Cardone Ventures, LLC (d/b/a 10X Home Services) and Lessen LLC (respectively, “Cardone” or “Lessen” or collectively, “We” or “Us”) collect, use, and share such information and data. This Privacy Policy does not apply to information or data collected by Cardone or Lessen through any means other than in connection with your use of 10X Home Services, such as offline, through the Cardone or Lessen website, or by any third party through content (including advertising), or the Services, that may be accessible from any publicly available website. The information collected or received by such third parties, is subject to their own privacy policies or practices and under no circumstances is Cardone or Lessen responsible or liable for any third party information collection.
By using 10X Home Services or the Services, you consent to the collection, transfer, manipulation, storage, disclosure, and other uses of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, then you should not use 10X Home Services or the Services or give us any of your information. Irrespective of which country you reside in or supply information from, you authorize Cardone and Lessen to use your information in the United States and any other country where Cardone or Lessen operates. Cardone and Lessen may process your Personal Information (as defined below) on a server located outside the country where you live.

1. Types of Information We Collect:

We collect information and data through 10X Home Services or the Services, which may include:

A. Personal Information. We may ask you to disclose certain information, such as your name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, product preference information, billing information, demographic information voluntarily provided by you (such as language, age, and, if applicable, content preferences and personalization information) and personal interest information, or other personally identifying information ("Personal Information"). On occasion, we may ask for additional information to enable us to provide you with access to or use of certain information, materials and services. We may also collect your personal information through submissions made by a service provider, vendor, and/or subcontractor.

B. Non-personally identifying information. We may also ask you to submit other information which is non-personally identifying, such as transaction information, pictures, video or other information which does not identify you personally.

C. Information about your device, internet connection and usage details. We may also collect information automatically when you use 10X Home Services or the Services, such as information about your device (which term includes personal computers, laptops, tablets, phone, and other hardware), your browser, your internet connection, your IP address, and how you use 10X Home Services or the Services.

a. Information You Provide to Us

· As you use 10X Home Services or the Services, we may collect any information that you provide, which may include:

into 10X Home Services’ applications and may include Personal Information. We may also ask you for information when you report a problem with 10X Home Services;
Records and copies of your correspondence (including your name and e-mail address), if you contact us regarding 10X Home Services, including correspondence conducted outside of the application;
Your responses to surveys that we might ask you to complete in connection with 10X Home Services;
Your registration for any event sponsored by Cardone, Lessen or any partner, subsidiary or affiliate of Cardone or Lessen;
Pictures or video which you submit through 10X Home Services;
Details of transactions you carry out through 10X Home Services;
Your search queries on 10X Home Services.

b. Information We Collect through Automatic Data Collection Technology

· As you use 10X Home Services, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about your device, use and access of 10X Home Services, or patterns of use, which may include:

Device Information. We may collect device-specific information, such as your hardware model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers.
Log Information. When you use 10X Home Services, we may automatically collect and store certain information. This may include:

§ the specific Services used through 10X Home Services and details of how you used such Services;

§ Internet protocol address (a number assigned to your computer when you use the Internet);

§ device event information, such as crashes, system activity, device settings;

§ cookies that may uniquely identify your browser or your device.

Local Storage. 10X Home Services also may access metadata and other information associated with certain files stored on your device which relate to 10X Home Services. This may include, for example, time, date, or location tags included in photographs, audio and video clips. We do not, however, access any data from contact files, calendar, call logs, or text messages.
Cookies. When you use 10X Home Services, Cardone and Lessen will use automated information gathering tools, including cookies (small strings of text sent by our servers and stored by your browser on your device hard drive), which will allow us to record how you use 10X Home Services, assess overall activity, track interest in particular features of 10X Home Services, diagnose problems with our servers, and troubleshoot technical concerns. You may refuse to accept browser cookies by activating the appropriate setting on your device. However, if you select this setting you may be unable to access certain parts of 10X Home Services. Unless you have adjusted your device setting so that it will refuse cookies, our system will issue cookies when you direct your browser to 10X Home Services.

c. Information We Receive from Third Parties

In some instances, we may request or receive information about you from third parties including Personal Information. Cardone or Lessen may combine information about you that we obtain from business partners or other companies.

2. Third-Party Information Collection

When you use 10X Home Services or the Services, certain third parties may use automatic information collection technologies to collect information about you or your device. These third parties may include:

A. Analytics companies;

B. Your device manufacturer;

C. Your internet provider.

These third parties may use tracking technologies to collect information about you when you use 10X Home Services. The information they collect may be associated with your Personal Information or they may collect information, including Personal Information, about your online activities over time and across different websites, apps and other online services websites. They may use this information to provide you with interest-based (behavioral) advertising or other targeted content outside of 10X Home Services. You may opt out of receiving cookies from third party advertising networks by going to the Network Advertising Initiatives cookie opt out page, which can be found at http://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp.
We do not control third parties' tracking technologies or how they may be used. If you have any questions about an advertisement or other targeted content, you should contact the responsible provider directly.

3. Information Use

We use the information we collect from 10X Home Services to provide, maintain, protect and improve 10X Home Services, to develop new Services, and to protect Cardone, Lessen, and our users. Specifically, we use your information to:

A. Present 10X Home Services to you;

B. Communicate with you – either through email, telephone, or otherwise;

C. Ensure that work performed is done in a quality manner. Specifically, we may use your information to carry out our contractual obligations with our customers and to enforce our rights arising from any contracts which are binding upon Cardone and Lessen with respect to the work we perform. Specifically, we may use photographs to verify that work is completed in accordance with all contractual requirements which are binding upon Cardone and Lessen;

D. Improve your user experience and the overall quality of 10X Home Services or the Services; including to develop new technologies or products;

E. Run reports regarding the efficiency of work performed for our customers;

F. Use for internal business purposes;

G. Include in our data analytics;

H. Troubleshoot technical problems or other difficulties;

I. Meet any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request;

J. Enforce any contractual right, or the applicable Terms of Service and/or Acceptable Use Policy in connection with your use of 10X Home Services, including investigation of potential violations;

K. Detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security, or technical issues;

L. Protect against harm to the rights, property, or safety of Cardone, Lessen, our users, or the public as required or permitted by law;

M. Show you opportunities or offerings from Cardone or Lessen;

N. Use in any other way we may describe when you provide the information;

O. Fulfill any other purpose for which you are providing information.

We may use Personal Information we collect about you for marketing purposes, which may include:
- Sending you promotional emails, newsletters, or other communications about our products, services, or special offers,
- Personalizing your experience on our website or mobile applications,
- Conducting market research and analysis to improve our products and services.
We will ask for your consent before using information for a purpose other than those that are set out in this Privacy Policy.

4. Information Sharing

We may disclose information we collect or you provide, including Personal Information, as described below:

A. To our partners, subsidiaries, and affiliates;

B. To our third party contractors, service providers, and other third parties we use to support our business;

C. To verify transactions are completed and for quality assurance purposes. We may provide photographs and location information in order to verify that certain services are performed in a quality manner. We may also share certain limited data (not including any Personal Information) with prospective customers in order to demonstrate the quality of the 10X Home Services, Services, and technology;

D. To enforce any rights that we may have under contract or to ensure compliance with the terms of any agreement to which Cardone or Lessen may be subject;

E. To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of Cardone or Lessen's assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation or similar proceeding, in which Personal Information held by Cardone or Lessen is among the assets transferred;

F. To fulfill the purpose for which you provide it;

G. For any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information;

H. With your consent;

I. If we have a good-faith belief that access, use, preservation or disclosure of the information is reasonably necessary to:

1. meet any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request;

2. enforce the applicable Terms of Use and/or Acceptable Use Policy in connection with your use of 10X Home Services, including investigation of potential violations;

3. detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security, or technical issues;

4. protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of Cardone, Lessen, our users, or the public as required or permitted by law.

We may disclose aggregated information, without restriction, about our users (including you) and use of 10X Home Services; provided such information does not identify any individual.
Additionally, we may share your Personal Information with selected third parties for their direct marketing purposes. These third parties may include:

1. Our business partners who offer complementary products or services,

2. Advertising networks and marketing agencies,

3. Analytics providers who help us understand our customer base,

You have the right to opt-out of having your Personal Information used for marketing purposes at any time. To exercise this right, please contact us at privacy@lessen.com or use the opt-out mechanisms provided in our marketing communications.
We will only use or share your personal information for marketing purposes in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, including obtaining your consent where required.

5. Tracking

We do not engage in the collection of personally identifiable information about your activities over time and across third party websites or online services. Accordingly, we do not currently process or comply with any web browser’s "do not track" signal or other mechanisms that provide consumers with the ability to exercise choice regarding the collection of personally identifiable information about your online activities over time and across third party websites. However, we may from time to time allow third party companies to collect certain non-personally identifiable information. See the description under "Third Party Information Collection" above.

6. Information Security

We work hard to protect our users from unauthorized access to 10X Home Services or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of information we hold. In particular:

A. We regularly review our information collection, storage and processing practices, including physical security measures, to guard against unauthorized access to systems;

B. Except as otherwise set forth in the "Information Sharing" section above, we restrict access to Personal Information to Cardone or Lessen employees, contractors, and agents who need to know such information and are subject to contractual confidentiality obligations.

The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have implemented security measures to restrict access to certain areas of 10X Home Services, you are responsible for abiding by all such security measures, including keeping any access methods strictly confidential.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet (especially wireless internet) is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your information, especially all Personal Information, we cannot guarantee the security of your Personal Information transmitted through 10X Home Services. Any transmission of Personal Information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures we provide.

7. Your Choices

We strive to provide you with choices regarding the Personal Information you provide to us. This section describes mechanisms we provide for you to control certain uses and disclosures of over your information.
Tracking Technologies. You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If you disable or refuse cookies or block the use of other tracking technologies, some parts of 10X Home Services may then be inaccessible or not function properly or we may be unable to provide the Services to you.
We do not control third parties' collection or use of your information to serve interest-based advertising. However, these third parties may provide you with ways to choose not to have your information collected or used in this way. See "Third-Party Information Collection" above with regards to opting out of receiving targeted ads from members of the Network Advertising Initiative.

8. Accessing and Updating your Personal Information

We aim to provide you with access to your Personal Information provided to us as a result of your use of 10X Home Services or the Services. If that information is wrong, then you may update it or delete it – unless we have to keep that information for legitimate business or legal purposes. When updating your Personal Information, we may ask you to verify your identity before we can act on your request.
We may reject requests that are unreasonably repetitive, require disproportionate technical effort (for example, developing a new system or fundamentally changing an existing practice), risk the privacy of others, or would be extremely impractical (for instance, requests concerning information residing on backup tapes).

9. Our Statement Towards Children

10X Home Services or the Services is not directed to persons under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with Personal Information, we take steps to remove such information and terminate the child’s account.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make a change to this policy that, in our sole discretion, is material, we will notify you via update or email to the email address associated with your account. By continuing to access or use 10X Home Services after those changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Privacy Policy.
