Lessen Continues Property Services Industry Revolution, Launches AI-Powered “Lessen Copilot” Tool
“Lessen Copilot” leverages generative AI to eliminate guesswork, centralize work order management, and expedite all aspects of commercial and residential property maintenance
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Lessen, the premier tech-enabled, end-to-end solution for outsourced real estate property services, today launched Lessen Copilot (“Copilot”), a powerful artificial intelligence (AI) tool designed to streamline all aspects of the commercial and residential property services process. Powered by Lessen’s best-in-class technology, Copilot allows property managers and their teams across all asset classes and geographies to seamlessly manage the work order lifecycle through an intuitive conversational interface.
“The launch of Copilot takes things to the next level by providing a virtual assistant whose entire job is to make it easier to manage services for a distributed real estate portfolio.”
The company’s first ground-up generative AI tool, Copilot allows users to begin the work order process via a chat interface by simply explaining their specific need in their own words. Leveraging over 15 years of proprietary Lessen data and millions of work orders, Copilot swiftly diagnoses issues, recommends service combinations, and automatically generates work orders.
“We are constantly improving our tech stack to eliminate friction and improve our customer’s experience,” said Jay McKee, CEO at Lessen. “The launch of Copilot takes things to the next level by providing a virtual assistant whose entire job is to make it easier to manage services for a distributed real estate portfolio.”
Built to help boost end-user satisfaction and allow owners and property managers to focus on their core functions, Copilot leverages predictive analytics to proactively offer service recommendations based on historical data. It simplifies interaction through one centralized, easy-to-use interface, minimizing administrative load while reducing the risk of human error. Lessen Copilot also offers multilingual capabilities, including English and Spanish language options.
“Our ultimate goal is to bring more simplicity and intelligence to the process of performing real estate services,” said Jianqing Zhao, Chief Technology Officer at Lessen. “Traditionally, a substantial number of submitted work orders required upfront or follow-up conversations with a call center. By utilizing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to augment the capabilities of large language models with Lessen’s specific internal knowledge base, Lessen Copilot reduces that figure meaningfully, streamlining the process for all stakeholders while cutting back on mistakes.”
Copilot has already been rolled out across thousands of residential and commercial locations, and feedback from early customers has been overwhelmingly positive. Initial customers have seen a 20% reduction in the time it takes to produce a work order, with only 1% of conversations requiring human processing. In the coming months, the company also plans to expand Copilot to help streamline various processes for its network of over 30,000 vendors.
