Ringing the Bell

In July Lessen rang the opening bell at Nasdaq! Lessen Senior VP of Commercial Partnerships Chris Byrne and other winners of the Chicago Innovation Awards met to ring the Nasdaq bell in celebration of Chicago’s most innovative companies. Because of our achievement in ringing the Nasdaq bell, Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson officially declared July 9 at “Chicago Innovation Day!” “Chicago is home to world-class research institutions, leading technology companies, vibrant startup ecosystems, and diverse communities that collaborate to foster a culture of creativity and ingenuity,” Johnson wrote, adding that companies like Lessen possess “the innovative spirit that defines our great city.”

Inc. 500 Honor

Also inAugust, Lessen was named the #1 software company – and the #2 company overall – on the 2024 Inc. 5000, Inc.’s annual list of the fastest-growing private companies in the US. Lessen also was ranked the fastest-growing company inArizona.

Lessen Chicago is Moving!

Lessen’s office in downtown Chicago is moving from its current location in Prudential Plaza to a new location in the Loop at 203 N. LaSalle St. The new office puts Lessen inside Chicago’s technology corridor anchored by Google. Look for Lessen to open its new doors in early 2025.

Lessen Among Best Places to Work

Lessen was named a 2024 Best Place to Work, honoring companies with the best total rewards packages across the US and in tech hub cities like Austin, Houston, San Francisco, and Seattle. The program also weighs criteria like remote and flexible work opportunities, DEI programs, and other people-first cultural offerings. The honor came from Built In, the largest candidate generation platform for global technology professionals. “This is a celebration of our dedication, collaboration, innovation, and inclusivity that define our workplace culture," said Lessen founder and CEO Jay McKee.
